This program is a combination of
 
Hinode Washi "paper making workshop"
Sakanaen "catching, grilling, and eating fish,"
Tsuru Tsuru Onsen"hot springs".
 
You can enjoy the whole day.
 
If you are coming by train, please take a taxi from Musashi-Itsukaichi Station to Hinode Washi. The ride takes about 10 minutes.
 
After the papermaking experience, we will provide a shuttle to Sakana-en, where you can catch rainbow trout, grill them, and enjoy them fresh.
 
From Sakana-en, it is about a 5-minute bus ride to Tsuru-Tsuru Onsen.
Tsuru-Tsuru Onsen is the last stop.
From Tsuru-Tsuru Onsen, buses to Musashi-Itsukaichi Station depart from the stop right in front of the facility and take about 20 minutes.

This program also includes free admission to the "Sakanaen" and "Tsuru Tsuru Onsen" for smooth entry.
 
Those who come by car can enjoy driving to "Sakanaen", "Tsuru Tsuru Onsen" and other spots with your car.

The program of "Sakanaen" changes depending on the time of year as follows.
April to September: Grabbing a handful of fish　or  Fishing pond.
From October to March: Fishing pond.

［By Car]

About 1 hour from central Tokyo.
Approximately 15 minutes from the Ken-O Expressway Hinode Interchange to Hinode Washi.
Parking available.
 

［By Train]

From Musashi-Itsukaichi Station (JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Line), take a taxi to Hinode Washi – about 10 minutes.
10:00 AM – Start the washi papermaking experience.
12:00 PM – Shuttle to Sakana-en.
At Sakana-en, catch rainbow trout, grill them, and enjoy your fresh-cooked fish.
Around 2:00 PM – From the nearby bus stop, take a 5-minute bus ride to the last stop Tsuru-Tsuru Onsen.
Relax and enjoy the hot spring.
Around 5:00 PM – From the bus stop right in front of Tsuru-Tsuru Onsen, take a 20-minute bus ride back to Musashi-Itsukaichi Station.
→Take a bus (one bus every hour) on the way back to Musashi Itsukaichi Station in about 20 minutes. The last bus departs at 20:00.
 

［What to do at Hinode Washi］

Actually you can experience that the paper is made of wood.
 
You can choose between papermaking postcards or papermaking uchiwa (Japanese fan).
When making postcards, plants and other items can be included, but fresh plants will eventually die. If you bring dried flowers, you can put them in.
 

1. You will peel and pound the bark of the kouzo tree to make raw materials for washi paper.
2. You will make three postcards or a uchiwa from the raw material and take them home with you on the day.
3. Receive free pass tickets for "Sakanaen" and "Tsuru Tsuru Onsen"

［What to do at Sakanaen］

1. You submit your free pass ticket to the receptionist
2. You will enter the river barefoot. If you are worried about going barefoot, you can bring your own flip-flops. The river is shallow, so many children also enjoy it!
3. Catch rainbow trout (or use a fishing rod to fish in a fishing pond); 1-5 people can catch up to 5 rainbow trout (6-10 people can catch up to 10)
4. Fish is grilled with salt and served with Tenpura Udon noodles.

*Not available from May 3 - 5 and August 13 - 15.

*This program changes depending on the time of year as follows

April-September: Either catching fish in the river or fishing in the fishing pond
October-March: Fishing only in the fishing pond.

［What to do at Tsuru Tsuru Onsen］

1. First, put your shoes in the locker and give the key and free pass ticket to the receptionist.
2. Relax and heal your body in the spacious bathroom, open-air bath, sauna, etc.
3. There are many spaces inside the building where you can relax and unwind.(Within 3 hours, it is free of charge. After that, you must pay 270 yen per hour separately).
4. Dinner is also available.
5. Bus stop right in front of the entrance, 20 minutes to Musashi Itsukaichi Station.(The last bus departs at 20:00)

Face towels are also available for 300 yen.
There is a cafeteria inside the building.
