About 1 hour from central Tokyo. Why don’t you make paper from wood in rich nature!
About 1 hour from central Tokyo to the west side. There is rich nature beyond the city here. In summer fireflies flutter in the river in front of the workshop, autumn leaves are also beautiful in autumn.
We grow also the mulberry tree which is the raw material of Japanese paper inside a large site. Peel off the wood, tap it and make it fine fiber, then do paper making.
We also use well water for paper making. It is fun to draw with hand pumps.
After the workshop is over, you can relax in the hot spring ` TsuruTsuru Onsen'. It is approximately 10 minutes by car from here. You can also go by bus from Musashi Itsukaichi station. It takes about 20 minutes. Tatoo is OK.
